A significant focus of the work undertaken by AFCCT has been to develop and increase wider community engagement well beyond 'just' football. This work is done in close partnership with other like-minded groups and organisations, involving participants of all ages, some aged 100+. AFCCT have programmes addressing dementia, inactivity, obesity, social exclusions, social deprivation and more.

Football Fans in Training
Football Fans In Training is a health and wellbeing initiative targeting male & female Dons fans aged 35-65 that are keen to lose weight. FFIT covers healthy eating, portion control, drinking and increasing physical activity through various practical and classroom sessions delivered by AFCCT coaches. For more information email

Funded by Aberdeen Health and Social Care partnership, AFCCT trained coaches will work with Dons families to become healthier and fitter as well as giving opportunities to see behind the scene at Pittodrie. Email for more information.
