‘THE CHANGING ROOM’ IS BACK AT PITTODRIE: SPACES NOW AVAILABLE

Estimated Reading Time: 1 minutes

Aberdeen FC Community Trust is delighted to offer once again, ‘The Changing Room’ at Pittodrie. The innovative 12-week programme uses the power of football to improve men’s mental health and wellbeing.

The Changing Room, is a Scottish Association for Mental Health (SAMH) project working in partnership with the SPFL Trust, and football club charities across Scotland, while being funded by the global men’s health charity, Movember.

The 12 week programme targets men aged 30-64 and works to help them self-manage their own mental health whilst also giving them access to a strong support network. The course uses football, along with a variety of other activities such as walking football and ‘walk n talks’, to explore areas that may challenge them, such as how they view themselves, think and feel.

AFCCT will be running the programme, free of charge, from January to April with spaces currently available.
