Changing lives for the better through the power of football and passion for Aberdeen FC.

At the heart of its community, Aberdeen FC established its charitable trust in 2014 to provide support and opportunity to change lives for the better.

The award-winning AFCCT works with people of all ages and backgrounds to maximise the potential of our communities and to improve their physical and mental wellbeing.

Recognising that people are our community’s greatest asset, the Trust focuses on how we can inspire and empower, particularly the next generation, through education; provide community projects targeted at a wide range of age groups and differing needs; as well as providing a first-class football environment.

Our focus is on two main themes:

Education and Positive Destinations, where we work with Partner schools across the region to help reduce the poverty related attainment gap through a range of educational, health & wellbeing interventions.

Football, Health, and Wellbeing where we work to support all age groups in the community from youth work; public health initiatives; active ageing & dementia friendly activities. We are committed to increasing participation and enjoyment of our national game.  We provide a range of football opportunities from primary leagues, girls football, holiday camps fostering pathways for the development of young people and coaches across the North East.
