Local schools to celebrate Red & White Day!

Estimated Reading Time: 1 minutes

On Friday 25th November, a number of schools across Aberdeen city will Don their red and white gear for ‘Red & White Day’ ahead of Aberdeen FC’s appearance in the Betfred Cup Final against Celtic on Sunday.

On the day each participant will attend school dressed in red and white in the run up to the Betfred Cup Final and raise money for Aberdeen FC Community Trust or a chosen charity in the process.

Head Teacher at Northfield Academy and Trustee with Aberdeen FC Community Trust Neil Hendry proposed the idea, “We are delighted to be working with AFCCT by supporting their Red & White day on Friday 25th November.

“Our partnership with both the Trust and the Football Club goes back a number of years and we really liked the idea of marking the club’s appearance in the Betfred Cup Final by doing something a little different. Pupils will be given the chance to add a touch of red and white into their school uniform on the day.”

Have you got anything planned this week ahead of the big game on Sunday? If so we would love to know about it!
