Aberdeen FC Community Trust (AFCCT) are delighted to be hosting a volunteers recruitment fair in accordance with Volunteers Week Scotland throughout the first week of June. The event will be held on Wednesday, 5^th of June in the Madri Lounge at Pittodrie Stadium

Volunteers are at the heart of AFCCT and without their dedication, we would not be able to run our wide range of community programmes. Earlier last month, our group of volunteers won the Community Supporter of the Year award at Aberdeen FC’s Player of the Year Dinner to help highlight their achievements and show how grateful the Trust are for all they do.

AFCCT work to provide support and opportunity to change lives for the better, and the volunteers are a vital part of fulfilling our mission. Our volunteers help us to continuously deliver our vison of maximising the potential of our communities by improving mental and physical wellbeing, working across our two themes of Football, Health, and Wellbeing; and Education and Positive Destinations. Our volunteers are a huge part of the AFCCT Family.

The trust provides a variety of training to new volunteers, including the chance to be mentored by experienced volunteers who have been with AFCCT for several years. This ensures that everyone has a positive and valuable experience while volunteering with AFCCT.

Our programmes that we are currently recruiting volunteers for, are primarily focused within the Health and Wellbeing team. These include working with our active ageing community at Health Walks, Memories sessions and Technogym, offering practical hands-on support to our staff with the delivery.
