With a distinguished career in politics and financial services, Geoff is Managing Partner of advisory firm, True North, supporting businesses across a range of different sectors. Geoff is an experienced, successful Communications and External Affairs Professional and was previously employed as Global Head of Public Affairs, Policy & Campaigns at Aberdeen Standard Investments (now abrdn). Prior to that, Geoff was Chief of Staff to the First Minister of Scotland in the Scottish Government. Currently, Geoff serves as the Chairman of the Observatory for Sport in Scotland, which is a research‐based charity focusing on overcoming barriers for individuals in disadvantaged communities, ensuring they gain access to physical activity.
