The Queen's Baton Relay at Pittodrie

The Queen’s Baton Relay arrived at Pittodrie today. It was greeted by participants from Aberdeen FC Communtiy Trust groups as well as Vice-Chiarman George Yule, Si The Seagull and Angus The Bull.

The Baton started its journey back in October 2013 and has visited 70 nations and
territories of the Commonwealth and has covered more than 190,000 km in 248 days. The Baton carries a message from the Queen, which will be read out by herself at the opening Ceremony on 23rd July.
