Estimated Reading Time: 1 minutes

Aberdeen FC Community Trusts’ Dementia Friendly programme is a city-wide approach to help people living with Dementia access physical activity across Aberdeen.

All the sessions are facilitated by staff members who have completed Dementia information sessions with Alzheimer’s Scotland.

Each partner is committed to integrating people living with Dementia, their families and carers into existing services.

By working collaboratively, we have increased opportunities for as many people in the community as possible, offering support to those people and making Aberdeen a Dementia friendly city.

AFCCT was announced as the winner of the Best Community and Social Responsibility Programme Award for the Trust’s Dementia Friendly Programme at the European Club Association awards earlier this year.

As part of this programme AFCCT deliver a wide range of fun filled activities which are open to everyone from January to March. To find out more please download our information leaflet.

To register or to book a session please call 01224 650400* or email dementiafriendly@afccommunitytrust.org
*9am-5pm quoting ‘Dementia Friendly’ when you call.

Aberdeen FC Community Trust is supported by Life Changes Trust and funded by the Big Lottery Fund to make the initiatives and Aberdeen City a Dementia Friendly Community.
