Aberdeen FC Community Trust is delighted to announce the return of the exciting free programme Youth Ambassadors.

The initiative provides local young people aged 14-24 the chance to have a voice in their local community by attending monthly gathering at Pittodrie Stadium.

During the year-long programme young people can gain vital qualifications and the opportunity to be involved with AFCCT and partners to get work experience opportunities, placements, volunteering opportunities, as well as the chance to mix with young people from all over the North East, make new friends and have AFCCT staff and coaches on hand to offer support and guidance.

Participants will be the focal point of the programme and will get to shape and plan their own experiences. AFCCT will support participants through various training courses relevant to their own journeys with the aim to increase knowledge and confidence.

Training courses will include SFA coaching badges, ‘job ready’ training, partner placements, various active ageing training and much more!

AFCCT will be hosting a launch night on Wednesday 19th September at Pittodrie Stadium from 6.30pm- 8.30pm. The night will consist of games, a chance to meet the staff and the opportunity to start shaping the programme!

If you would like to attend the launch night, please contact info@afccommunitytrust.org
