AFCCT Kiltwalk 2022

Estimated Reading Time: 1 minutes

Join the AFCCT team in taking part in the Aberdeen Kiltwalk on the 29th of May 2022.

The Kilkwalk is the ultimate challenge to raise money for your charity of choice. Running throughout a series of events across Scotland, there are a variety of walking distances to suit all ages and ability levels.

Walkers can choose between three walking distances with the Mighty Stride at 26 miles, the Big Stroll at 15 miles and the Wee Wander at 6 miles.

If you are one of the first 10 people to sign up to walk for AFCCT, we will cover your entry fee and provide you with an Aberdeen FC shirt to wear on the day!

100% of the money raised will go towards the Community Trust with the Sir Tom Hunter and The Hunter Foundation topping up your total by 50%.

To sign up with AFCCT please contact us at info@afccommunitytrust.org

Dave Ironside, AFCCT Kiltwalk participant, said:

“I am doing the Kiltwalk this year again and I’m once again walking to raise funds for a charity that is close to my heart. This will be my fifth Kiltwalk and they have all raised funds for AFCCT. As a volunteer with AFCCT I have seen how they change lives for the better and are a real boost in the community. AFCCT also helped me when I needed it and I see this as a small way of saying Thank You.”

Marion Douglas, AFCCT Kiltwalk participant, said:

“I’m doing the Kiltwalk this year because it’s a nice feeling inside when helping less fortunate people.”
