OurProgrammes

We work with people of all ages and backgrounds to maximise the potential of our communities and to improve their physical and mental health & wellbeing.

Recognising that people are our community’s greatest asset, the Trust focuses on how we can inspire and empower, particularly the next generation, through education; provide community projects targeted at a wide range of age groups and differing needs; as well as providing a first-class football environment.

Our work supports local, national, and international strategies alongside meeting local community needs across the North-East of Scotland. Direction from the World Health Organisation and United Nations gives us an international perspective on the importance of increasing physical activity, and tackling issues such as poverty, inequalities, and wellbeing.

Through engagement with the Scottish Government, local authorities, Education Scotland, SportScotland and the Scottish FA, we have identified strategies which have shaped our work across two key areas: 1) Education and Positive Destinations and 2) Football, Health and Wellbeing.

Education & Positive Destinations

Working in primary and secondary schools across the Northeast of Scotland, we use the power of football and the passion for Aberdeen FC to encourage pupil engagement in the classroom and beyond.

Football, Health & Wellbeing

We provide a wide range of grass roots and mass participation football opportunities.  Our health and wellbeing programmes support a wide range of community initiatives including our dementia friendly, active ageing activities promoting physical health and mental wellbeing.
